GENERAL INFORMATION

This Committee has been created to provide oversight for the construction of a $24 million dollar Highway Facility. By resolution 20-21/092 the committee will serve in this function until June 30, 2023.  The Highway Building Committee is comprised of County Board Supervisors appointed by County Board Chair Nick Smiar.

Highway Building Committee Function

The Highway Building Committee will meet monthly or as needed for proper oversight of this project. The committee will serve as the approval authority for all items related to this project and will be provided leadership and guidance by Eau Claire County Staff. There are three staff members that have been appointed positions for this project.
