About Us
Criminal Justice Services (CJS) is responsible for promoting improvements in the criminal justice system through interagency cooperation, coordination, and planning by the Criminal Justice Collaborating Council (CJCC).
The CJS department provides support to the CJCC and manages an array of deflection and diversion programming in collaboration with existing supported services within Eau Claire County.
The CJCC (CJS) was established through resolution in 2006.
The primary responsibilities of CJS include:
- Promoting collaboration between city, county, and state criminal justice agencies
- Establishing and measuring criminal justice performance measures
- Managing criminal justice programs and services

Developing initiatives that enhance systemic performance, heighten public safety, reduce recidivism, and create positive change.
