Meetings of the Committee on Judiciary & Law Enforcement are typically held on the fourth Wednesday of every month.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Committee on Judiciary & Law Enforcement shall be responsible for the departmental policy and oversight of the Sheriff's Office, District Attorney's Office, Clerk of Courts, Register in Probate/Clerk of Juvenile Court, Circuit Court, and Criminal Justice Services.

The Committee is additionally responsible for advising the County Board on all matters pertaining to criminal justice, public safety, emergency communications and telephone number system, and ordinance dealing with offenses under Title 9 of the County Code.

The Committee typically meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 3:00 PM.
