Groundwater Advisory

MEETING AGENDAS AND MINUTES

MEMBERSHIP                                                    

The Committee shall consist of nine persons knowledgeable and interested in groundwater quality and protection:       

  • Three members shall be county board members                    
  • One member shall be from the Board of Health        
  • One member shall be from the Department of Natural Resources, Water Quality Division  
  • One member shall be the president of the Eau Claire County Town's Association or designee       
  • Three members shall be citizens at large with one having expertise in a groundwater related field   
  • All members shall be citizens of the county at the time of appointment and for the duration of their terms

DUTIES                   

  1. Monitor state and federal regulation of groundwater                        
  2. Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive, county-wide groundwater management plan
  3. Perform such other tasks as directed by the Planning & Development Committee
