Recreation Patrol

The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office has been patrolling the all-terrain vehicle trails and routes in the eastern half of Eau Claire County since 2009. We started with one military surplus ATV which has since been replaced by two newer ATVs. In the winter, the emphasis switches to patrolling the county wide snowmobile trails and Lake Altoona. Our primary concern is to promote the safe use of Eau Claire County’s recreational trails.
