The Eau Claire County Jail offers a variety of programs designed to develop inmates' necessary life skills to become more productive members of society upon their return to the community. Since the programming is voluntary and behavior based, it assists jail staff by keeping the offenders focused on making a positive change both in their behavior and their future.
Program Director, Nathan Charbonneau, is responsible for scheduling and supervising the programs and services that take place in the facility. Jail Sergeant, Phil Field, is the supervisor of the Volunteer program in the jail. The following is a current list of programs offered in the Eau Claire County Jail:
Religion based content:
- Group-in person male and female-Every Sunday.
- Group-virtual males-Every Tuesday.
- Group-virtual females-Every Wednesday.
Literacy based content:
- Group-in person-males every Monday & Wednesday.
- Group-in person-females every Thursday.
Correcting thinking Errors program:
- Group-in person-every Thursday-alternates between male and female groups weekly.
Anger Management:
- Group-in person every Friday. Alternates between male and female
groups weekly.
