Due to Wisconsin Statute Chapter 19, the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA), and recent court cases, the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office will no longer be providing access to traffic accident/crash reports on the County Internet website. We understand this may be an inconvenience to you, but this is being enacted to protect personal information of all parties involved.

Starting January 1, 2020, and going forward you can request a crash report at CrashDocs.org. You will need the date and the report number of the accident in order to request the report from the site.

If you're looking for a report for an accident prior to January 1, 2020, we ask that you contact our office at 715-839-4701. You can also complete the form below to request a traffic accident/crash report from our office. Forms can be mailed or faxed as follows:
