WI Statute 59.27(4): The sheriff of a county shall do the following: Personally, or by the undersheriff or deputies, serve or execute all processes, writs, precepts and orders issued or made by lawful authority and delivered to the Sheriff.
The Civil Process Unit consists of a coordinator and two deputies whose primary duty is to execute service of process matters in a professional manner that is consistent with state law and department policy.
