Vehicle Entrance Passes
Vehicle entrance passes are required year round at a number of Eau Claire County recreation areas including all county parks, Evergreen Ski Trail, and boat landings. Vehicles parking in areas where fees are charged need to have either a daily or an annual pass. You can find more information at our website www.eccountyparks.com.
Daily passes may be purchased onsite for $5 and annual passes onsite or at the Administrative office for $30. Daily and annual passes may be purchased online here.
Households with multiple vehicles may purchase additional passes at a reduced rate of $10 each. These can also be purchased onsite, at the Administrative office, or online by clicking here.
Tower Ridge County Park Passes
Between April 1st and December 1st, Tower Ridge requires either a daily or annual entrance pass. This includes the disk golf course and horse trails. Between December 1st and March 31st, a separate vehicle pass is required at Tower Ridge during the winter season - $6/daily; $60/annual. These can be purchased online.
Replacing your windshield? Peel off your original pass, bring it in to the Administrative office in Altoona, and you will receive another sticker at no charge.
Replacing a lost sticker? Additional stickers may be purchased here for $10.
Free Disabled Veteran Passes
Parks & Forest Dept is offering FREE entrance passes to Eau Claire County parks for certain Disabled Veterans and Prisoners of War. To apply for a free pass, print the required Free Disabled Veteran Entrance Pass Application, complete and present it to the Veterans' Service Office in the courthouse with the required documentation. Incomplete forms or missing documentation will not be accepted. Find the form here.
