Any person who is convicted of an Unsafe Backing, Operating Left of Center, Failure to Yield, and certain other Right-of-Way violations are required to successfully complete a Right-of-Way course.

Please note, we are no longer holding traffic/ordinance court. The "court date" listed on your citation is simply a deadline date by which you will need to submit a Not Guilty plea in writing if you wish to speak to the prosecuting agency regarding your citation. Failure to submit a written Not Guilty plea by the deadline date will result in a default judgment for the fine/forfeiture amount listed on the citation.

If you have received an OWI citation, or have reached an agreement with the prosecuting agency and would like to appear on your court date, you may do so via Zoom video application. Instructions on how to appear via Zoom were included in a letter mailed to the address we have on file. If you did not receive this letter, or have further questions, please call 715-839-1865.
