Transportation options provided by the Eau Claire County Aging and Disability Resource Center are for older adults, 60 years or older, and adults with disabilities. Below are transportation options based on location, disability and qualifying needs. Some services may have reduced fares or be paid for by the program, if you meet eligibility requirements, applications may be required.
TRANSPORTATION PRIVATE PAY
These options are available for those who require specialized transportation to accommodate mobility needs such as wheelchairs.
These options are for private pay for those who do not need specialized transportation:

Reduced fare bus transportation is available through the City of Eau Claire for more information call the Eau Claire Transit Office at 715-839-5111 or look at the resource listed below.
Medicaid Transportation
Non-emergency medical transportation for those who have full benefit Medical Assistance, such as a Forward Health card, is provided by Veyo. For more information on how to contact Veyo and schedule a ride look through our resource below.
Paratransit Transportation through Eau Claire County
The Paratransit Program is a joint program offered by the City of Eau Claire and Eau Claire County to provide transportation for those whose disabilities prevent them from using the Eau Claire City Bus system, and for those with disabilities or who are age 60 or older in the rural parts of the county who do not have access to any transportation services.

The ADRC Rural Transportation Van
The ADRC Van can accommodate three individuals and one wheelchair. This service is available to individuals aged 60 or older and adults with a disability that live in Eau Claire County. The ADRC Van is only for non-medical transportation such as going to the store, bank, salon or pharmacy. Typically, rides are available from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is no application process for this service. The ADRC Van schedule is updated monthly, our most current schedule is posted below.
ADRC Transportation Grants
The ADRC has a grant available for transportation. The Vehicle Modification Grant is for those who are in need of a vehicle modification to maintain independence and due to financial reasons, is unable to make these modifications otherwise. The modifications can be used for vehicle lifts, hand controls, swivel seats, handy bars, etc. Funding is based on availability and application prioritization will be at the discretion of the ADRC.

Driving Safety Evaluation
A Driving Safety Evaluation can be helpful to ensure safe of mind that you or someone you love is prepared for the rigors of driving on the road.
