The impact of falls among older adults can lead to serious consequences. Falls are common and costly, both to the individual and our health care system. The encouraging news is that falls are not a normal part of aging and can often be prevented. In this presentation we will explore normal aging challenges, research-based strategies to prevent falls, and how medication management can maximize benefits of medicines while reducing fall risk.
