Lowes Creek Ski Trails

Lowes Creek County Park is a 250 acre park located just a couple miles south of Eau Claire off S. Lowes Creek Road in the town of Washington. Lowes Creek, a trout stream which flows through the park, is spanned with a bridge giving hiking and skiing access to both sides of the creek. In addition to fishing, the park has approximately 5 miles of fitness/hiking and ski trails which are also open for mountain biking. Winter snowshoe/pet walking trails are groomed to separate these recreation uses from ski trails. A picnic shelter and pit toilets are located adjacent to the parking lot. Daily/annual vehicle entrance passes are required.

NOTICE OF QUORUM

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the members of the Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors have been invited to the quarterly update meeting on Refugee Resettlement on Thursday, July 25, 2024, beginning at 2 p.m.  This meeting will be located at 221 W. Madison St., Eau Claire, WI 54703 (West Riverside Building) room 104 (in the job center.

 

During this meeting staff from World Relief Wisconsin will share updates specific to the Chippewa Valley Office (Eau Claire) operations. A representative from the State Bureau of Refugee Programs will also participate in this informational meeting.  Note that attendance is limited to invited individuals with RSVP required. Only registered attendees will be permitted to enter the meeting space.

 

This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Subchapter V of Chapter 19 of the Wisconsin Statutes.  This is not a public meeting of the Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors or any other committee, commission, board or council, and no business will be conducted but a quorum may be present.
